Personal statement	I have been instructing over 40 years with an overriding involvement in Competitive Obedience, as a handler, show organiser and Judge.  Over the last 10 years I have developed a greater interest in family companion dogs and their general behaviour. I, with instructors from the previous DTI courses and Sue Evans, launched the PDTI in 2005, running its first practical instructors course in 2006, adding theory in 2010.
